My name is Miffy and I’m a little bunny who hopped out of a bedtime story.
You can place the magnetic board in the shape of Miffy in the children’s room or in the kitchen and fill it with beautiful cards and notes.
Miffy is designed with respect to the ‘quivering line’ of Dick Bruna, Miffy’s spiritual father, so the eyes are deliberately not 100% clean cut.
What is striking is that the lines that Bruna draws with his brush are frayed to the viewer under a magnifying glass. You must have what he calls a certain ‘shivering’: “It’s about a certain tremor. A good line has a good tremor. But I find that good tremor the hardest. The artist is hidden in that tremor.”
